Shabooya Shoes was started in 2020 with the objective of creating a shoe that can truly be worn for any occasion. Gone are the days where a closet filled with shoes is necessary. We want to take all of the best ideas from the footwear that came before us and combine them, creating truly innovative and versatile shoe for everyone and anything. Shabooya takes the durability of a work boot, the comfort of a slipper, and the movement capability of a sneaker and combines them into a single, fashionable shoe. The idea for this shoe came after our founder, Jake Christensen, looked at his shoe rack and realized how much better it would be if the shoe rack did not have to exist. So he set to work on putting together all of the best features of the best shoes there have ever been.

Our Chief Marketing Officer, Jake Christensen, has an advertising management degree from Michigan State University, one of the top universities in the country for this field. He has used his education from Michigan State as well as his experiences from travelling around the world and talking to those who our shoe would most benefit to create a strategy that ensures not only the effectiveness and popularity of the product among those who would be using it, but also the success of the company. He retrieved feedback from hikers, athletes, and exercise enthusiasts to see what they all look for in a shoe for their respective strenuous activities. Then talked to nurses, construction workers, and travelers to find what people who are always on their feet look for in their shoes. The result is a comprehensive list of what a jack of all trades shoe would include. Next we went to the market, to see what a shoe of this caliber might look like. In collaboration with some of the country’s top fashion influencers and people in the industry, design suggestions and were compiled and combined to make a shoe that is truly beautiful—both in function and design.

Creating the world’s most versatile shoe is great, but what good is success if you don’t use it to help others? Also, with this being a shoe that can be worn for anything, being a provider of comfort and shelter is a value that our company values above all else. It is with these ideals that we are proud to donate to charities and other non profit organizations across the world whose goal is to build shelters and provide food for those who don’t have it. It is our way of giving back to the people that have given us the crucial feedback needed to create such an innovative shoe.

While our beginnings have been incredible with success already being seen, we are excited to continue our innovative mission and provide versatility to everyone who needs a shoe. It is time to get rid of the shoe rack and replace it with a single, beautiful pair of shoes.
